About the Role

The Relationship Manager for North America is responsible for member retention and membership growth in the region. Members have a variety of interests, so it is critical to understand their unique priorities to develop bespoke plans for connecting them with resources and engaging them in the community.

In addition to direct responsibility for assigned members, the Relationship Manager coordinates internal initiatives to promote consistency across the global membership experience, as well as global membership growth. This position also develops key relationships with strategic partners that can support Toniic through sponsorship, grants, and other collaborations.

Location: Toniic Headquarters, San Francisco, California, USA

Compensation: $100,000 annual salary, benefits including 4 weeks of office closure in addition to three weeks of vacation annually, subsidized health insurance, 401k plan, and access to dental, life, accidental, and disability insurance.

Reports to: Global Head of Membership

Identify & recruit new Toniic members, with an emphasis on the United States West Coast
Serve as relationship manager for assigned Toniic members; this includes but is not limited to relationship management meetings/calls, making member introductions within the community, and working with the Toniic investment team to support member investment interests
Deliver a highly-valuable and personally-meaningful membership experience to support the retention of assigned members
Identify & implement strategies for increasing member engagement & membership growth
Report key performance metrics to support the global growth of Toniic membership
Develop relationships with strategic external partners
Develop relationships with funders that have the potential to support Toniic’s field-building initiatives
Develop relationships with entities that have the potential to sponsor Toniic events & other activities
Represent Toniic at meetings & conferences
Develop marketing collateral as necessary to support the above activities
Co-manage & support the Member Support Associate for North America
Participate in regular internal meetings to achieve consistency across the membership experience globally
Required Skills & Characteristics

Track record of sales results
3-5 years’ experience as a manager or director, preferably in a membership-based or investor-facing organization
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with high net-worth individuals, investors, partners, & the broader impact community
Investment experience or deep understanding of impact investing industry
Passion for promoting impact investing
Willingness & ability to take on regional and some international travel
English proficiency
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work cross-culturally
Comfort working with a dynamic, global organization
