-Developing and disseminating communications materials for events to promote ANDE’s research efforts
-Reporting to funders on the progress of research activities
-Identifying areas for improvement in data collection, validation, and analysis processes through advanced data analytics techniques
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
-Strong understanding of both primary and secondary data collection methods and processes: primarily survey design but also interviews and use of public datasets
-Experience wrangling and cleaning “messy” datasets to make them usable for extracting insights
-Demonstrated capabilities conducting data analyses and visualizations with Excel; additional experience with platforms such as Stata, R, or Python and/or other data visualization software preferred
-Excellent writing skills to clearly communicate research findings through reports, blog posts, etc.
-Very strong attention to detail (including ability to proofread and design high-quality slide decks)
-Knowledge of or interest in entrepreneur support programs, in particular in a developing world context
-Ability to deal with ambiguity and proactively identify areas for improvement in processes and deliverables
-Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively on small teams and interact productively with project stakeholders
-Sense of humor
-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Political Science, or Computer Science
-1-4 years of work experience demonstrating the above characteristics
The candidate will self-identify with and/or have previously thrived in an environment that aligns with ANDE’s Values. At ANDE we:
