POI is searching for Sales Development Representatives (SDR) to join our sales team. Sales Development Representatives “SDRs” that join POI are the driving force of POI’s Go-To-Market org. Our SDRs launch targeted campaigns & communicate with executives of innovative startups every day. We pride ourselves on investing in our team and promoting from within.

This individual will be responsible for generating new business for the sales org through proactive outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification. As the first SDR on the POI team, this position is critical to the success of POI’s business through advancing qualified opportunities from prospective leads into qualified sales opportunities. POI is looking for creative and resilient individuals who demonstrate a passion for sales & willingness to roll up their sleeves.

This is a fully remote opportunity working with passionate changemakers around the world.


– Prospect
– Design and implement outbound email campaigns to generate interest and drive new leads to the business
– Stay up to date on the latest ESG and Impact Investing trends to better position POI in the market
– Outreach
– Manage inbound leads from marketing, partnerships, and product teams
– Identify, qualify, & schedule demos for potential Proof of Impact customers
– Communicate
– Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
– Preparing for & attending meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with Account Executives
– Organize
– Ongoing management of sales platforms (ie Salesforce, Notion, Google Drive, Monday)
– Monitor analytics with the rest of the team to identify viable ideas, trends, and growth patterns
– Strategize
– Assist our Go-To-Market teams with developing and executing go to market strategies
– Preparing marketing materials like decks, one-pagers, case studies, promotional videos, and use cases

– Bachelor’s degree/work experience in a related field
– 1+ years in sales or business development in a SaaS or high growth technology startup
– 1+ years experience working with financial institutions or venture capital, with a strong preference for impact-focused financial services experience
– Customer-Facing Experience – Comfortable communicating with C-Suite executives through phone, email, and conference calls.
– Excellent written/verbal communication skills

**Bonus points**

– Experience working with impact investors and entrepreneurs
– Experience working in an early-stage startup environment
– Based in the eastern United States or European time zones
