About the role | Director Sales – Student Recruitment
The WorldGrad is seeking a talented sales and recruitment professionals to set-up and grow their student acquisition capabilities. This is a unique role, responsible for driving student acquisition and growth for the online programs targeting Indian students. This will be an exciting opportunity for a keen professional to establish student recruitment capabilities for the company by building a team, processes and assets from near ground zero. The person will report directly to the founders.
As an important part of a growing start-up, a potential hire will get the opportunity to learn, develop and expand professional skills alongside an experienced leadership team. At the same time, The WorldGrad team values collegial, small-team environment which offers a balance of flexibility, ownership and accountability.
Developing the sales strategy for online feeder programs in conjunction with the founders.
Developing the sales organization structure looking at both tele-sales and center based sales efforts.
Building a team under them to execute sales strategy spanning all channels.
Collaborating with marketing teams to help improve quality of leads.
Being responsible for program revenue targets.

Critical requirements for the role (Must-Haves)
10-15 years of professional experience with current focus on customer acquisition (Inside Sales). Experience in education sector is strongly preferred.
MBA/equivalent Master’s from leading institutions in India.
Previous experience with handling leads from various sources including through digital, partner or physical channels.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Preferred requirements (Nice to Haves)
Proven leadership in complex consultative sales.
