| The Good Food Institute Europe (GFI Europe) is looking for a Scientific Partnerships Manager to accelerate the European scientific community to build a sustainable, secure and just food system. If you’re excited about working with universities, scientists, students, companies, and relevant strategic partners, we’d love to hear from you! GFI is at the forefront of the movement to advance plant-based, cultivated, and fermentation-made meat in order to solve some of the world’s biggest problems, from climate change and global hunger, to antibiotic resistance and animal suffering. Reporting to our Senior Science and Technology Manager, you will be responsible for engaging and partnering with universities, researcher networks, journals, conferences, science media, and other relevant stakeholders across Europe with the twin goals of 1) inspiring existing scientists to work on sustainable proteins and 2) supporting students and educational institutions to build a strong scientific training ecosystem. Full-time (flexible hours), permanent. Requests for part time hours (0.5 FTE or above) can be considered. Home-based/remote from anywhere in Europe. Salary: €4,920 to €5,400 per month if based in Germany. €2,700 to €3,600 per month if based in Lithuania. The salary will be adjusted if hired elsewhere in Europe.To be successful in this role, you will have:A passion for GFI’s philosophy and mission. Excellent people skills: the ability to influence, network, build alliances and represent GFI in front of academic and other important stakeholders. A strategic mind: with your team, you will be responsible for selecting the highest-impact things to work on for facilitating the scientific community. You don’t necessarily need to have an advanced or scientific degree for this role as long as you have the ability to get up to speed with the science underlying the development of sustainable proteins.
