Who We Are Hiring:

We are recruiting for a Senior Campaigns Manager.

We are looking for a candidate with significant online organising experience to join a team of smart, skilled, and quick-witted campaigners. We are looking for someone who is excited to take strategic risks, act boldly, lead and manage other campaign staff and interns and creatively engage with our campaigns.

This position can be based anywhere in Africa or Europe.


-Identify, pitch and manage rapid-response campaigns around global crises and opportunities for LGBT rights, ensuring they have a strong theory of change and potential to win;
-Work collaboratively with LGBT organisations and networks to develop and run campaigns;
-Write inspiring email and social media copy;
-Design creative tactics to ensure campaigns have real-world impact, and reach audiences beyond All Out\’s current pool of supporters;
-Use digital tools to test and monitor the performance of campaign emails, action pages, social shares and paid social advertising;
-Work closely with our membership marketing team to ensure that our campaigns lead to growth in both members and donors;
-Manage other campaigners and interns, helping them think creatively and execute on ambitious campaigning goals.

Essential and desirable skills:

-At least 5 years of professional experience. Experience in online campaigning or digital strategy is essential, with a strong preference for those who have experience in digital supporter engagement;
-Experience in devising and implementing campaign strategies, either in a professional or unpaid activist context;
-Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a solid understanding of storytelling;
-Ability to operate in a high-paced global environment, with experience working in a dispersed international team;
-Demonstrated ability to develop networks and manage strategic partnerships;
-Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with a diverse set of international LGBT activists;
-Fluency in verbal and written English. Additional language skills are a plus (particularly French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish);
-An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, organised and deadline-obsessed attitude;
-A strong existing network in the LGBT movement in Africa and/or Europe is desirable;
-A commitment to strengthening the voice of LGBT people as a path toward progressive change;
-Great sense of humour!

Pay and benefits are highly competitive and based on experience. This is a permanent position.
