About Senior Grant Writer
The role will work closely with the CEO for the full range of grant writing and overall communications with donors. The main responsibilities are grant writing for upcoming projects and reporting for the existing projects. This role will coordinate with different internal departments and implement the project from the beginning till the end. This role is a remote role and you are available to adjust your working schedule. You are also passionate about the EduTech sector for youth from Myanmar.

● Lead the activities in preparing, submitting and for grants proposals.
● Research and identify the potential grants opportunities and needs, studying the request for proposal and joining strategy meetings, communicating risks associated with
● Ensure all the grant proposals and reporting meet deadlines by prioritizing the activities for gathering, writing, reviewing and approving.
● Manage in proposal reporting timeline and tracking related data.
● Build relationships with external stakeholders, partners and donors.
● Understand the EdTech institutional backgrounds and program purposes.
● Develop proposals by assembling information including project nature, objectives,
implementation, methods, timeline, staffing, budget and performance evaluation.
● Maintain quality results by using templates, following proposal writing standards and
maintaining proposal support databases.
● Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing process, approach and coordination.
● Assist with other fundraising projects as requested.

● Grant writing experience with not less than 2 years of experience.
● A demonstrated track record of making a difference and adding value. Must be able to
develop relationships and work cross functionally to achieve results
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Proven ability to lead and demonstrate strong sense of ownership.
● Proven ability to present complex information in a simplified fashion to facilitate
● Ability to meet deadlines and work under high pressure and challenges.
● Great understanding on theory of change, social impacts, social enterprise and
● Background knowledge and interest in gender and youths is a plus
● Have a strong personal interest in attaining education equity in Myanmar and beyond
