To support the Global Sustainability Team, we are hiring for a Reporting Analyst. In this challenging role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of cocoa and chocolate by shouldering the following responsibilities:

– Lead the production of Barry Callebaut\’s public sustainability reports, which include the flagship Forever Chocolate Report, Cocoa Horizons Report, GRI Report, and CocoaAction report, working with dozens of stakeholders inside and outside of the company
– Coordinate external verification of these reports annually. Participate in strategic reporting projects such as company integrated reporting
– Develop the Forever Chocolate impact reporting framework. Help set impact targets. Analyse impact of programs against targets and share key learnings
– Design and implement management reports drawing on our global farmer sustainability database Katchile. Govern the global data architechture of Katchile, especially managing the portfolio of surveys created for various data collection purposes, ensuring consistency across countries and alignment between global and local requirements
– Operationalize innovation: testing and releasing new software to users in the field, setting training strategy, channeling feedback, acting as a change agent
– Set up the data quality control processes globally and provide management reporting on data quality


– 5+ years work experience designing and operating large reporting and analytical systems
– Masters Degree or higher in fields such as: Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Business, Information Management, Sustainability
– Excel mastery is a must, familiarity with SAP Lumira and GIS competencies are a plus
– Strong knowlege in data science analytical techniques, strong statistical background and toolbox
– Experience with external verification audits is a plus
– Strong project management skills
– Strong presentation and communication skills
– Structured, meticulous, detail oriented
– Able to drive a vision into reality, especially in complex operating environments like cocoa origin countries (West Africa, Latin America, South-East Asia)
– Familiarity with direct sourcing, supply chain management, or the cocoa and chocolate industry is a plus
– Familiarity with sustainability agricultural challenges in smallholder crops challenges a plus
– Willingness to travel (0-25%)
