Job Description: We are currently seeking a Volunteer & Pro-Bono Engagements Intern to join our Human Resources team. The intern will contribute to our team by researching, communicating about, and analyzing opportunities for Accion to create partnerships and skills-based opportunities for external engagement. This role will offer the opportunity to work closely with the SVP of Human Resources, along with our program teams, and will allow the intern to obtain an overview of a global non-profit and the work of its HR team.
The main responsibility for this internship will involve the creation of a standardized approach to volunteer and pro-bono engagements with Accion. This will involve research, communication across departments, and analysis of existing programs and potential partners.
Research potential partnerships, including networks of skilled volunteers, universities.
Communicate across departments to learn about existing project needs and assist in the creation of candidate profiles based on these needs.
Additional responsibilities (time permitting) to be determined based on the intern’s interest and skillset with the HR team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong writing and computer skills.
Comfort working independently.
