It’s That Time Again – Here’s Your Official SOCAP19 Conference Preview

October is in full swing, and that means it’s time for SOCAP – the 12th annual gathering of investors, entrepreneurs and others helping to drive mission-focused business. Happening next week, SOCAP19 will host over 500 speakers and hold more than 150 breakout sessions at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture in San Francisco. Organizers are expecting attendance of over 3,000 professionals from social enterprise, impact investing and other diverse sectors.

As in years past, NextBillion will be a media partner at SOCAP19 – but with some exciting new additions. This year, we will be providing coverage of the event in real time, live-tweeting, live-blogging and streaming interviews via Facebook Live.

Editor James Militzer will also be representing NextBillion in the pre-event Impact Growth Workshop on from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 22  in Fort Mason’s Southside Theater. Militzer will join a panel alongside prominent names in impact media, such as Anthea Kelsick of B Lab, Eric Nee of Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR), Catherine Cheney of Devex and Justin Belleme at JB Media Group.
