Kimberly Gartner
CFSI

Kimberly is Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships. She is responsible for cultivating, developing, and growing strategically important, multifaceted relationships with CFSI’s largest clients to drive mutual value. She is passionate about working collaboratively with others to help them envision new possibilities and outstanding results. She brings her deep knowledge of consumers, understanding of the financial services marketplace, and vision for financial health to spur people and companies to action.

Under her leadership, CFSI has launched a successful consulting business, created the go-to industry forums for scale financial services firms and innovative mid-tier institutions, and seeded innovation with a combination of programmatic support and nearly $4 million in grants to promising nonprofit organizations. Kimberly joined CFSI through the Center’s acquisition of the Responsible Credit Partnership, a cross-industry credit card effort she led for several years, leveraging her consulting background in business planning and product design for underbanked consumers.

Kimberly earned a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Social Work both from the University of Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Arts in sociology, with minors in mathematics and business, from Drake University.
