Will McAneny is communications associate for Root Capital. He uncovers stories from across the Root Capital community and turns them into original content for the website, blog, and social media channels. When he’s not writing Root Capital’s latest blog post or practicing his Spanish with his colleagues in Costa Rica or Peru, he’s finding ways to improve Root Capital’s internal communications and ensure that global offices can stay connected. Before joining the Root Capital team, McAneny worked for Greenpop in Cape Town, South Africa, and Livingstone, Zambia, and for Global Citizen Year in Quito, Ecuador. McAneny holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Northeastern University.
