Clara is an Associate Program Officer in the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Financial Services for the Poor initiative where she works with financial institutions, telecoms, and other companies to deliver transaction and saving services at scale to underserved populations. Prior to joining the foundation, Clara worked as a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. She holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA in East Asian History from Dartmouth College and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Latin America.
