As Senior Manager for African Outreach, Edith Jibunoh manages ONE’s relationships with policy makers, NGOs, the media and academia in Africa. She manages the ONE award and is actively engaged in African debates on democracy, corruption and governance. Before joining ONE, Edith worked at Nigeria’s Millennium Development Goals office and Ministry of Finance, the World Bank in the East Asia and Pacific Region, as well as the Bank’s Special Representative Office at the United Nations.

    The first-ever ONE Africa Symposium in Johannesburg, South Africa was designed to highlight novel technology and innovations unleashing Africa’s economic potential and promoting sustainable development. The 300 attendees were a cross-section of innovators, policymakers, students and academics. Two innovators: Sproxil and Transparent Aid, stood out.
