Khondokar Anwar Shadat is Project Coordinator for the Innovation Fund for Mobile Money at BRAC’s Social Innovation Lab (SIL). He started his career at BRAC as a social innovation practitioner with SIL, where he managed BRAC’s flagship event, Frugal Innovation Forum, a platform for the practitioners and innovators from the Global South to explore scalable solutions to development challenges. In his current capacity, Shadat focuses on a portfolio of projects aiming to expedite financial inclusion through integration of mobile money across BRAC’s programs and internal operations. He also spearheads BRAC’s social innovation fellowship program. Shadat’s training is in Electrical Engineering from Islamic University of Technology.s
