Sarah Allen is a Communications Associate at BRAC USA, the U.S.-based affiliate of BRAC, a leading international development organization creating opportunities for the poor in 11 countries across South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. Sarah has a passion for storytelling, and her areas of interest include international education, youth empowerment and development economics. Previously, Sarah worked with Outreach360, an NGO focused on education and youth empowerment in Latin America, and Community Empowerment Network, a nonprofit implementing economic development programs in financial inclusion, agriculture and community-based tourism in Brazil. She has also worked in the education sector as an early childhood educator at a bilingual school and as an English teacher in Queretaro, Mexico. Sarah graduated summa cum laude from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.
