Shivani joined Ashoka in 2005 and launched the Full Economic Citizenship Initiative in India, developing integrated, commercial solutions for under served markets in micro-health insurance and affordable housing. She presently directs the learning and knowledge efforts across FEC countries in India, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Egypt.

Shivani has 17 years of private and social sector experience and have held several positions in marketing and project management in the private sector including setting up a cheese unit with a team of entrepreneurs.
