Sreyamsa’s work primarily focuses on understanding dynamics of the rural energy market.He studies specific aspects like the business model, revenue model, growth opportunities and barriers for various companies working within the BoP energy space (Solar/Decentralized renewable energy companies/Energy efficient cookstoves/Market development organizations).Currently he is working on a Centre for Development Finance-World Resources Institute joint project “Investing in clean energy for the base of pyramid” which does an indepth analysis of the BoP energy markets worldwide. Prior to this project, he was working on carbon finance issues focussing on making clean development mechanism (CDM) revenues more accessible to the poor.
