Ssenkubuge Kenneth was born and grew up in Uganda. From his own siblings, Kenneth became aware of the large percentage of young people graduating without practical skills, work experience or job leads, leading many to a life of unemployment and poverty.

In 2017, he founded the Hire the Youth, which focuses on the support & empowerment of young people with an emphasis on employment and education. The organization helps young people who are in/out of school, unemployed or underemployed overcome the barriers to employment through strategic partnerships, workshops and campaigns.

Today, his platform employs and elevates young people from many backgrounds, helping communities to access opportunities and create more jobs in the poorest areas in Uganda and Africa as a whole.

He holds a degree in business computing from Makerere University Business School.
