Applications are open for the HEI Enterprise Support Capacity-Building Program by the African Development Bank Group‘s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab, to help African higher education institutions and research centres establish or strengthen their enterprise support organisations, incubators, hubs, and technology transfer offices where campus ideas can become enterprises.
Selected institutions will gain:
· Practical capacity building in governance, operations, funding, ecosystem partnerships, and sustainability.
· Ready-to-use frameworks and tools to strengthen your institution’s enterprise support operations.
· Access to a growing HEI community connecting 200+ institutions across Africa.
· Tailored support for 5 selected institutions to develop an institutional strategy and submission-ready funding proposal.
The program is open to all African higher education institutions or research centres, or an enterprise support unit within one, including those starting from scratch.
Participating institutions should be able to provide leadership backing, dedicate staff time to the program, and include women and youth in their enterprise support activities.
Applications are completely FREE and can be submitted in English or French.
