The ICFA is a unique multi-year programme that includes technical and financial support to selected impact investment managers in their start-up phase who have strong, innovative climate investment strategies and are in process of fundraising.
These investment managers are selected using a highly competitive process and, once selected, they receive access to expert trainings, coaching, access to working capital, and much more.
We typically select four emerging managers each year and provide them with the following

Five days of free training with our private partners over the course of the selection process and the first year.

An experienced coach, who will dedicate time for you and your team for specific advice and feedback on your fund project.

A library of relevant publication as well as templates of policies and other tools for emerging fund managers

Facilitated exchange of insights and best practices between all programme stakeholders

Preferential access to leading impact events, and access to dedicated fundraising resources
Financial Support
Support Services Envelope
An envelope of EUR 100,000 to be used with our Luxembourg private partners to set up and further develop your fund project in terms of legal structuring, risk management, impact strategy, etc. The envelope used will be reimbursed once your fund is launched.
Introduction to partner bank(s) in Luxembourg
The programme includes the introduction of the Selected Fund Manager to the partner Luxembourg bank(s). The partner bank may, at its discretion, provide a loan of up to EUR 200,000, guaranteed by the Luxembourg State, to be used as working capital for fundraising, marketing, team development, pipeline building, etc. The loan will be reimbursed over a period of five years, after a four-year grace period.
