Analyst, Programs & Operations
This is a full-time, hybrid (3 days/week in office) role based in New York City.
ABOUT IMPACT CAPITAL MANAGERS
The Impact Capital Managers (ICM) mission is to accelerate the performance of our members and to scale the impact investing marketplace with integrity and authenticity. We do this through our membership association, which today includes 150+ funds representing more than $70B in impact-focused private capital, as well as field-building initiatives and partnerships via our affiliated ICM Institute. Our fund manager members have backed 5,500+ innovative private companies and seek meaningful impact and exceptional financial returns. The ICM network of peers is engaged and collaborative by nature. Membership is selective.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Analyst will have a primary focus on supporting the execution of ICM events, both in-person and virtual, and other aspects of member experience, including but not limited to the member portal, database management, prospective member research, new member onboarding, and member renewals. A secondary focus will be supporting finance and operations functions, including accounts payable and receivable, coding transactions, and administration of ICM compliance. The Analyst will execute tasks delegated by both the Manager of Member Experience and the Head of Finance and Operations. The Analyst will report to the Manager of Member Experience. This role is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates interested in nonprofit management. The successful candidate will have excellent prospects for growth within ICM over time, working closely on mission-critical workstreams and building a powerful network in the growing field of impact investing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Member Experience & Events (60%)
– Support the planning and execution of high-quality events (in-person but also virtual) for ICM members and stakeholders – including project plans and timelines, invitations and registration, speaker invitations and preparation, venue and Zoom logistics, catering and additional vendors coordination, presentation materials, and budget actuals
– Support on all tasks related to ICM member experience and internal operations, including data and knowledge management, affinity and working group stewardship, and member renewal and onboarding processes
– Update the member portal with fund management and impact-focused resources for ICM members
– Maintain the info@impactcapitalmanagers.com ICM email inbox and direct inbound email queries to appropriate colleagues
– Support member recruitment and prospective member tracking
Finance & Operations (40%)
– Assist finance and operations with regular financial processes (e.g. accounts payable and receivable, monthly close, and vendor onboarding)
– Support timely billing, filing, and administration of compliance-related tasks (e.g. 990s, hiring tasks, and insurance) and administration of ICM software subscriptions
– Support knowledge and file management
– Support programmatic budget development and grant reporting
– Assist with Board relations, including drafting meeting decks, materials, and tech support
– Support rollout and staff use of CRM (including but not limited to tracking KPIs related to event attendance and programs like Turner MIINT and Mosaic)
QUALIFICATIONS
– 1-2 years of full-time employment experience, ideally in an operations, administrative support, membership, or event coordination role
– Demonstrated experience with event coordination preferred
– Demonstrated experience with finance support functions preferred (e.g. invoicing, building and managing budgets)
– Experience using database, communication, event, or project management platforms (e.g. AirTable, Slack, Monday, MailChimp, Canva, Zoom, Dropbox, Luma, CRM systems, Gusto, Excel, or equivalents) preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Impact Capital Managers has offices in Washington, D.C., and Midtown Manhattan, New York City. This role is based in our Midtown Manhattan office. We operate on a hybrid model (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the office). ICM offers comprehensive health benefits, a flexible and generous PTO policy including office closure between December 24 and January 1, a 401(k) with up to 4.5% employer match, a $1,000 one-time home office tech stipend, and a competitive paid family leave policy. The salary range for this role is $60,000-$75,000, commensurate with experience. This range is non-negotiable. Some domestic and international travel may be required (<20%).
