The team
The IT and compliance team’s work is essential to the success of Energy Saving Trust’s mission, with every employee in the organisation using the digital tools and platforms we provide. Having undergone significant infrastructure transformation over the past few years, we are now focused on providing our teams with the digital tools and applications that enable us to deliver on our mission.
We are working with colleagues across the organisation on a Dynamics 365 CE programme to deliver an up to date, streamlined, flexible CRM, consolidating and simplifying our existing CRM landscape.
We work with teams across the organisation providing solutions that empower our people to work and collaborate smarter.
The role
As a hands-on, technically expert Dynamics 365 specialist, you will enable our CRM improvement programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and delivery of Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions.
You will assess requirements for technical feasibility, integrate our Dynamics CRM with other applications, and coach and develop colleagues’ Dynamics 365 skills.
Our data underpins our work, and you will apply your demonstrable knowledge to manipulate and visualise data, facilitating data-driven decision-making processes, and ensuring the needs of our end users are met.
You will enhance organisational knowledge of Dynamics 365.
What you’ll do
Play a leading role on the technical team to build a new Dynamics 365 online solution for Energy Saving Trust’s consumer advice programmes, as we migrate them off their legacy CRM system.
Lead day–to-day Dynamics 365 Online operations and support for Energy Saving Trust. Coordinate delivery of required enhancements and changes across different teams, maintain reference data, and manage our Dynamics 365 Online environments and users.
Work with internal and external Delivery, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to deliver end-to-end services for Energy Saving Trust’s clients in both public and private sectors.
What you’ll bring
Demonstrated strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Online customer service workspaces, including configuration, customisation, business process flows, dashboards, forms, views and report development.
Ability to create and influence solution designs with a configuration-first approach, only using customisation where essential to minimise implementation and maintenance risks and costs.
Detailed understanding of CRM functional areas in Dynamics 365 online, particularly omnichannel contact and case management in customer service workspaces.
Hands-on experience of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio).
Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with other applications.
Proficiency in creating high quality documentation and delivering functional designs.
