Introduction to Outrigger

Impact Outrigger Impact catalyses the blue economy and enhances the sustainability of ocean resources to build environmental, economic and community resilience and drive nature-positive outcomes in the most vulnerable island and coastal states. We work with Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) within six blue economy sectors – ocean conservation and ecotourism, sustainable seafood, circular economy and blue technology, sustainable blue infrastructure, ocean-based renewables and ridge-to-reef – providing grant and investment finance to businesses and projects creating a climate resilient future for island communities.

 

The Outrigger

Impact Platform includes the Outrigger Impact Fund, a blended finance investment fund and the Outrigger Technical Assistance Facility (OTAF), a grant-making facility to support investment readiness and nature-based solutions in SIDS

 

Job Description

The Environmental, Social and Governance Officer with Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Experience or ESG-GESI Officer, will sit within the Impact and ESG Team of the Outrigger Impact Platform. The role will support the assessment and implementation of Outrigger Impact’s ESG and Impact requirements, including GESI, across all vehicles within the platform and will report to the ESG and Impact Director.
