Overview
The Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development (EJS Center) invites qualified consultants or firms to submit proposals to develop a Comprehensive Sustainability Plan for the African Women’s House — a new presidential center being developed in Monrovia, Liberia.
This plan will guide the Center in ensuring financial resilience, programmatic longevity, and environmental responsibility as it establishes and operates the African Women’s House as a premier destination for learning, leadership, and cultural exchange.
About the EJS Center and the African Women’s House
Founded in 2018, the EJS Center is a not-for-profit organization that champions women’s ascension to leadership and dismantles systemic barriers to women’s advancement in Africa. The African Women’s House is envisioned as a living legacy of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s leadership — combining exhibition, convening, and educational functions to inspire future generations of African women leaders. The facility will include exhibition spaces, archives, a learning lab, conference facilities, and public amenities, all designed to reflect women’s leadership in Africa and beyond.
