Arc Ride Secures $10 Million in Funding to Expand Electric Motorcycle Battery-Swapping Network Across Kenya

Kenyan e-mobility startup Arc Ride has secured $10 million in debt financing from Mirova, a Paris-based sustainable investment manager, to expand its battery-swapping network for electric motorcycles. This marks the first time Mirova’s $282 million Gigaton Fund has invested in Africa’s electric vehicle sector, highlighting the growing demand for two-wheelers on the continent.
