If you’ve donated to a humanitarian cause before, you’ll no doubt have asked yourself what happened to your donation. But tracking these funds based on where they go, how they’re spent and their eventual impact is a real challenge for the aid industry.

Welsh startup Disberse is on a mission to build a new financial institution for the aid industry, using blockchain technology. It’s designed an online platform that allows donors and aid organizations to manage their funds globally.
