Droit Health’s Pilot Clinic at Lakkur

Bangalore based start-up, Droit Health has piloted world’s first “technology enabled socionomic healthcare delivery model”. “Droit Health” means “The Right to Health”, and the start-up is focused on navigating the needy and less fortunate through socio-economic disparities hindering accessing quality health care. The company has rolled out a novel business model by co-launching urgent care clinics, personalized pharmacy, telemedicine at one side and microbanking, mobile wallets and microinsurance at the other side.

Droit Health’s pilot clinic at Lakkur , Outskirts of Bangalore was inaugurated by Christian Boehringer , Chairman of Stakeholders Committee of BoehringerIngelheim and 3rd generation Founding Family Member of one of the globally leading pharmaceutical companies on 10th Jan 2016.

 Christian Boehringer said “Today, we were able to experience how sophisticated set up could be built up in very minimal area in a rural region of India. We are very excited because one hand we can help for making more health and another we have learnt how to structure our future business on more participatory healthcare from a pharmaceutical company perspective”
Boehringers’smaking more Health initiatives, core team members Jean Szolnok and Manuela Pastore along with partners from Asokha Foundation were also present in the occasion.

Droit Health with its partners devises self-serviced health kiosks, telemedicine units and personalized pharmacy for all the urgent and primary care delivery.
