Economist Events’ 4th Annual Investing for Impact Conference to Share Vision for 2020 and Beyond

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–A new era of fintech, generational shifts and political fragmentation bring modern challenges to the impact investing community. Amid this evolving landscape, investors want to know what lies ahead in 2020 and how to adapt to these ongoing developments. Assembling a lineup of top thinkers to lead these discussions, The Economist Events announces its fourth U.S. Investing for Impact conference – 2020 Vision – to be held in New York City on February 13, 2020.

The one-day summit will be held at Convene, 1 Liberty Plaza, in Manhattan. Similar to past events, this year’s summit will generate actionable steps to leverage the latest developments in technology to extend the reach of impact investing, with networking opportunities and discussions led by editors and reporters from The Economist as well as other industry leaders.

The event will include panel discussions, fireside chats, workshops, debates, and personal impact stories from executives at world-renowned organizations. Topics to be discussed include: how to widen the impact community to reach both institutional and retail investors; how fintech, AI, advanced analytics, and regulatory changes are changing processes and reporting; how investors can harness the opportunities across multiple causes, such as climate change, while managing risk; how generational shifts will alter the opportunity set for investment managers; and how different sectors can collaborate to accomplish shared sustainability goals.
