Florence Ajimobi’s ABC: Towards Oyo’s quality, effective basic health care

Friday, January 10, 2014

Over the years, the importance of effective primary health care and access to quality medical attention has been emphasised as the ingredient that determines the success of a community.

Often, sound health is used as a determinant to classify prosperity and happiness as an unhealthy person cannot think of wealth.

The cost of this basic care more often than not however goes beyond the financial strength of many people and those that can afford such services more often than not find themselves at a loss on how and where to get qualitative attention.

Many groups and initiatives have risen over time to tackle this challenge but the challenges continue to persist.
