‘Future proofing’ the agriculture sector

Asian economies stand vulnerable to climate change. Some of the most significant impacts are expected to hit the agriculture sector.
This is a serious concern, since agriculture is not just a key driver of economic growth but also a vast source of employment in the region, especially at the “bottom of the pyramid” where the region’s future middle classes are currently concentrated.
