Ghana Secures US $24.9 Million for Agric-Mechanisation Plant

The government of Ghana has secured US $24.9million loan to develop an agric-mechanisation plant. A signing ceremony was done between the Ministry of Finance and the Export and Import Bank of India to seal the deal.

The project will see an establishment of a tractor and a backhoe loader and also involved the construction of an assembly plant to fabricate agriculture implements. It will be executed by Action Construction Equipment (ACE) Limited of India which would ensure the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with the completion date set within 18 months.
