The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the Global Fund) has approved US$2.5 million in emergency funding to support the procurement of essential HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and malaria commodities and services in the conflict-affected regions of Tigray, Amhara, and Afar in Northern Ethiopia.

The funding will be implemented for one year – from 1 September 2024 to 30 August 2025 – through a standalone grant managed by UNICEF, Principal Recipient of the grant, and the World Health Organization (WHO), sub-recipient of the grant.
