Helios Towers’ Public Listed Bond, Co-anchored by BII, Mobilises Private Capital of Over $700 Million to Support Africa’s Digital Transformation

British International Investment, the UK’s development finance institution and impact investor, participated in Helios Towers’ $850 million public bond offering with a $30m anchor commitment.

Helios Towers is Africa’s leading independent telecoms infrastructure company, operating towers on over 14,000 sites and serving more than 144 million people across the continent. It operates in nine countries including Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Ghana, the Republic of the Congo (Congo Brazzaville), South Africa, Senegal, Madagascar and Malawi.
