Kenya’s Health Funding Is Still Not Enough

It is now 12 years since the Africa Union held a meeting in Abuja, Nigeria that committed at least 15 per cent of the national budget to health.

The pledge remains largely unmet by most countries. The Abuja Declaration remains one of the most vital shows of commitment by African leaders towards health development and more importantly towards development of sustainable health.
