MobiKwik, Paytm Go Multilingual As e-Wallets Tap Users in India’s Hinterland

Majority of the mobile wallets companies are launching multilingual interfaces as focus shifts to make digital payments and commerce more inclusive and widespread by enabling users to transact in their native languages following demonetisation.

MobiKwik, a mobile wallet company, released five more regional languages version of its application on Thursday.

With this move, the company is expecting to break the language barriers and connect with millions of mobile users from tier-II and tier-III cities by enabling them to transact digitally.

Mobikwik’s user interface is now available in as many as 8 languages such as English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
