President Obama to Propose $45 million Increase to Protect Global Health

U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius made the remarks during a discussion about the Global Health Security Agenda on Thursday at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Washington. She said global health is one of Obama’s top priorities. The president’s Global Health Security Agenda revolves around enhanced prevention of infectious disease threats, more robust detection and more effective response.
