Report Examines Current State of Impact Investing Education

Thursday, August 11, 2016

A new report by the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University evaluates the landscape of impact investment education, calling for better philanthropic and corporate funding for training programs and more attention from academic institutions to respond to a fast-changing marketplace.

The study notes that without a deeper scope of educational offerings, the market will struggle to develop the expertise needed to meet growing investor interest. MacArthur supported this research as part of its work to drive more patient, flexible, affordable capital into the social sector through impact investments.
