Sandoz Seeks Mobile-Enabled Health Access Solutions

Thursday, September 29, 2016

Sandoz has kicked off a global competition to find new mobile health ideas for improving access to healthcare.

The Novartis division’s ‘Sandoz HACk – Healthcare Access Challenge’ is open to entries from 18-35 year olds and offers a prize fund of $20,000 to each of its three winners.

Participants apply by posting a 1-2 minute video or 150-200 word post to Sandoz’s Facebook page – those that meet the competition’s terms are then made visible and further details sent via Facebook messenger.

Richard Francis, division head and CEO of Sandoz, said: “As global healthcare costs continue to rise faster than economic growth, health access will not improve without a major collaborative effort to address the gap, driven by fresh thinking.
