Saving One of the World’s Most Important Carbon Sinks Is Big Business
Ask someone to name a forest, and chances are the first one that comes to mind will be the Amazon. It occupies a unique spot in our cultural imagination: a forest so large that it stretches across nine countries and is bisected by the synonymous river long enough to stretch across the US with 1,000 miles to spare.
