A Singapore-based healthcare IT services provider is planning to reach out to hospitals in India to help them modernise and electronically manage patients’ health records, a senior official said.

Napier Healthcare, which markets globally specialised healthcare IT solutions engineered from its centres in Chennai and Hyderabad, is looking for partners to reach out to more hospitals in India and its rural areas, Napier chief executive officer Tirupathi Karthik said.

“India is a key market for us,” said Karthik, pointing out that “India is the brain and nerve centre for producing software and technologies” that the company has put on global markets for more than a decade.
