South Florida Hospital System Breaks Into $30B Telemedicine Market

Spanish-language telemedicine provider Mediconecta will team up with Miami Children’s Health System to spur growth in the digital health industry.

The Miami-based company will work with MCHS partner Startupbootcamp to incubate and scale digital health innovations across the world, its pool of prospective candidates coming through hundreds of applications from more than 40 countries.

“The agreement with Mediconecta highlights the benefits of the Startupbootcamp partnership, which is aimed at nurturing innovation to advance the provision of healthcare,” said MCHS CEO Dr. Narendra Kini. “The Mediconecta agreement will support Miami Children’s telehealth outreach, enhancing benefits for the children and families we serve, both locally and throughout the nation and Latin America.”
