The 9 Best Countries to Be a Social Entrepreneur

Social entrepreneurs using businesses as a way to tackle social problems are emerging across the world.

But there is little data to see which countries are encouraging the sector.

Thomson Reuters teamed up with Deutsche Bank, advice group UnLtd, and the Global Social Entrepreneurship Network to conduct the world’s first poll on the best countries for social entrepreneurs.

The study highlights areas of weaknesses and strengths in the world’s biggest economies, and compares how well government policies support individual countries.

Here are the findings. The percentage in each slide indicates the proportion of respondents to the survey who answered yes:
