Michael Callen is an Assistant Professor at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he is am a faculty affiliate with the Evidence for Policy Design program at the Center for International Development. He also is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research and an affiliate at the Center for Effective Global Action, Empirical Studies of Conflict, the Center for Economic Research Pakistan, the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development, the Jameel Poverty Action Lab, and a Principal Investigator on the Building Capacity for the Use of Research Evidence: Data and evidence for smart policy design project. His primary interests are political economy, development economics, and experimental economics.
