Abhishek is an Academic Associate at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore where he is working in the area of Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship and Public Policy. He just finished a consultancy project of Intel Corporation and Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India on “Assessing the Impact of Faculty Development and Business Plan Competitions“. His paper “Talent Acquisition and Retention in Social Enterprises“ has been listed as top 10 papers in the area of Social Entrepreneurship and Human Capital at SSRN. He is also co-authoring a book on social entrepreneurship.

He holds a bachelor degree in Business Economics and Masters in Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Studies, Mumbai (TISS).

His interest lies in the intersection of politics and entrepreneurship.
