Andrés Cardona is advisor at Roots of Impact for social impact assessment and network analysis. He works at the intersection of science and business applications using the tools of network analysis and computer-based simulation. He obtained his bachelor in economics from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, one of the top universities in Latin America. After working as a consultant helping companies in Colombia prepare for a free trade agreement with the USA, he moved to Germany were he completed a masters and a PhD degrees in sociology. As a researcher at the University of Bielefeld he focused on understanding the causes of social inequality in markets, families, and social networks.
