NISA Project

Angel was born and raised in Santiago de Chile. He studied Commercial Engineering at the University of Santiago de Chile.

He is currently working on a social enterprise dedicated to electronics recycling calledRecycla Chile.In 2011, he and two friends created the NISA Project (Open Social Innovation Node).This initiative aims to positively impact the quality of life of disadvantaged social segments in Chile and Latin America, through the co-design, consulting and implementation of projects of public interest and social impact.The initative is currently in its first phase of development, which aims to create innovation workshops for entrepreneurs and microentrepreneurs.

Alejandro Aravena is one of the most internationally successful Chilean architects for his work in ELEMENTAL, a for profit "Do Tank" project with social interests that works on public impact projects at the Catholic University of Chile and COPEC. Aravena did what few can do: focus on asking the right questions to clearly define a problem to solve.
