Divya Nair most recently served as Director II at IDinsight in New Delhi for the last six years. She has 15+ years of experience supporting governments, multilaterals, funders, and NGOs to improve their social impact. Divya is deeply invested in solving systemic challenges around economic empowerment, health and nutrition, and gender transformation; she has also worked on financial inclusion, and sanitation. She holds an MPA from Princeton Univerisity and a PhD from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr Nair is a member of several technical advisory groups. She is currently on a sabbatical.

The digital gender divide has long occupied international development headlines, as gaps remain between men and women in both access to and usage of digital technologies in many emerging economies.
