Dr. Philip McKinley

Dr. Philip McKinley is an ophthalmologist with more than 35 years of practice specializing in diagnosis and surgery of the eye and ophthalmic public health issues. Trained at Tulane University School of Medicine, the Wills Eye Hospital, the University of North Carolina, the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and Emory University School of Medicine, he has experience both in the U.S. with the Duke Eye Center and through a variety of medical mission trips in Honduras, Peru, Mexico and Kenya. He currently teaches at Duke University School of Medicine and is a mentor to health care innovators through the Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke (SEAD).
