Jami O’Toole oversees the foundation’s Data-Driven Education Team. They support projects that scale high-quality formative data tools, strengthen teacher preparation focused on data-driven instruction, and create school models that enable personalized instruction for students. While supporting the team in all areas, O’Toole’s focus is on assisting companies in which the foundation has made program-related investments. O’Toole currently serves on the board of MasteryConnect and Better Lesson.

Prior to joining the foundation, O’Toole was a principal at the Boston Consulting Group where she led an effort to create a statewide education advocacy organization and define a statewide education quality scorecard. O’Toole has a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a master’s in business administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
